Here is the first performance I accomplished in Fresno, California at the Pacific Southwest Building. I'm physically experiencing how I emotionally feel when I enter a room of strangers.... and end with how I want to experience the situation.
Thank you everyone who attended and is watching this.
The painting to the right is from a collaborative series under a past art project I produced called Nice Never Lasts. Over 100 people worked on Nice Never Lasts with the leading artists being myself, Brent Holmes of Barfing Rainbows in Las Vegas, and Kyana Holzman of Dermafilia in the Bay Area.
The dots on the floor are from a site specific installation called Enclosed that I produced to honor everyone who had been a part of Wear Recycle, a large project I produced that embodied quite a few exhibitions and many many collaborations. Nice Never Lasts was part of Wear Recycle. The red dots signify each person who contributed to the project, the orange dots stand for how many days Wear Recycle had been alive starting from the first cast day to the day this installation exhibited, and the white dots are the future.
What do you guys/gals think? Would you have sat through this for 25 minutes?
